Cataracts & Glaucoma
Patients who have both cataracts and glaucoma can now undergo Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) at the same time as their cataract surgery. A new technology called the iStent device can be implanted just following the cataract procedure. This implant can effectively and safely lower the intraocular pressure, and thus reduce or eliminate the need for glaucoma eye drops.
